Managing Change

Most of the time, change is a good thing. Change furthers success, when done properly. In order for change to help, it must be managed. This particular management technique is used to prepare, support, and help teams in making organizational change. Our goal with it is to minimize any resistance and costs while simultaneously maximizing the effectiveness of the change effort.

Our Process

We recognize that this management process is the systematic approach to application of knowledge and resources to deal with change. It involves defining and adopting corporate strategies, structures, procedures, and technologies to handle changes in external conditions and the business environment. How we manage change can also be described using the graphic.

The Stages

Everything starts with a request for something to change. This can be done publicly or privately. Then we move on to analyzing what the impact of this change would be. The impact can be positive and/or negative. Once that has been assessed, the change is either approved or denied. If approved, the change is put in place. After something has changed, the new impact is reviewed and recorded for future reference.
